Updates for Nyack Business Owners & Nonprofits
Hi All,
We’re sharing a few important updates on projects and opportunities happening around the Village of Nyack. Whether you're a business owner, nonprofit leader, or just someone who cares about our community, we’d love your input and participation!
1. NY Forward Business Survey
We’re asking for your input as we move forward with the $4.5 million NY Forward grant from New York State to revitalize downtown Nyack. Your feedback will help shape the vision and goals for how this funding is used.

2. Nyack Cares Posters
We’re seeing an increase in panhandling downtown and will be reprinting more Nyack Cares posters to raise awareness and direct people to services. We’ll let you know when they’re available for pickup or delivery.
3. Nyack Summer Events Guide (Now in Print!)
We’ve printed 2,500 copies of the Nyack Summer Events Guide, and many have already been distributed to local high-traffic locations — and even some spots outside Nyack.
Want some for your customers? Just email me, and I’ll either drop them off or arrange a pickup from Village Hall. These are perfect for checkout counters or tables at restaurants. If we run out, we’ll print more!

4. Adding New Summer Events
We’re considering publishing an updated Summer Events Guide in July to include events for July and August. If you have events not listed in the current guide, please submit them using the form below:
At the very least, we’ll release an updated digital version to remove outdated June listings.
5. Fall Events Guide – Coming After Labor Day
We're planning a Nyack Fall Events Guide covering events from Labor Day through Thanksgiving. If you're organizing something for the fall season, please let us know by filling out this form:
