VILLAGE OF NYACK

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Village Board of Trustees (“Village Board”) of the Village of Nyack (“Village”), at a meeting to be held at Village Hall, 9 North Broadway, Nyack, NY 10960, on January 8, 2026, at 7:30 PM, concerning a proposed Local Law, which, if adopted by the Village Board, will (as briefly summarized) amend paragraph “G,” of  §238-5 (Exceptions), of Chapter 238 (Noise), of the code of the Village of Nyack, so as to prescribe an automatic repeal, on 12/31/2028 by means of a sunset provision, of the exception (exemption) from the prohibition of gasoline-powered leaf blowers.

     At such time and place, all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning same.

     The full text of the proposed Local Law is on file in the Village Clerk’s Office, and may be reviewed by interested persons during regular business hours.
