🚧 High Ave – Franklin St Drainage Project Beginning Soon

The High Ave – Franklin St Drainage Improvement Project will be starting shortly.

This project includes installation of a new storm water drainage along High Avenue. The new pipe will disconnect an existing drainage line that currently runs beneath several homes (from High Ave to Catherine St)  and redirect it to connect with the culvert drainage system on Franklin Street. 

Once drainage improvements are complete:

• High Avenue will be repaved within the work zone.

• Any sidewalks disturbed during construction will be restored.

• Driveway aprons impacted by the work will also be repaired.

This project is funded by FEMA as part of recovery efforts related to the Hurricane Ida September 2021 storm. 

The project will be managed by the Village Engineers, and Tony Casale Inc. is the contractor. Traffic may be detoured at times; however, every effort will be made to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation during construction.
