My best wishes to everyone for a meaningful Memorial Day this weekend.

Envision Rockland – Rockland County Comprehensive Plan Public Meetings
Envision Rockland is an effort to review and revise the Rockland County Comprehensive Plan this year. This is a massive project that will take up much of the year and help shape the future of the county, and the first steps is a series of community workshops to gather public opinion on the challenges faced by and opportunities available to the county. You can see the list of public workshops in the flyer below -- the closest one is this Wednesday, May 21, 6:30-8:30PM at the Adler Community Room on the fourth floor of the Palisade’s Mall. 🎖️ Come Celebrate Memorial Day with Us in Nyack!

Join us Monday, May 26, 2025, Memorial Day, at 11:00 AM, as we honor our heroes with Nyack’s annual Memorial Day Parade!

Bring your family, friends, and flags as the parade steps off down Main Street, turns right onto Broadway, and finishes with a heartfelt ceremony in Memorial Park via Depew Avenue.

Parade Route:

Starts on Main Street & Franklin Ave
Continues east to right onto Broadway
Left into Memorial Park at Depew Ave

Let’s come together as a community to pay tribute to those who served and sacrificed. We’ll see you there—rain or shine!

🚧 Fresh Pavement Coming Soon to Nyack! 🚧

Get ready, Nyack — smoother streets are on the way!

We’re excited to announce that our annual paving program is scheduled to begin at the end of June on several roads throughout the village. This is all part of our commitment to better, safer streets for everyone.

Streets scheduled for paving:

Gail Drive
Kilby Street
Central Avenue (between 5th & 6th)
Francis Avenue
Front Street (between 5th & 6th)

If your street isn’t on this list — don’t worry! It’s likely because water main or sidewalk upgrades need to be completed first. Once that work is done, your road will be next in line for a fresh layer of asphalt.

Expect minor traffic disruptions during the paving process — but the results will be worth it! 🚗💨
