Hi all, 🌞 HEAT WAVE ALERT: Stay Safe & Stay Cool 🌞
As summer kicks off, we’re heading straight into a dangerous heat wave this week. Please take care of yourself, your neighbors, and your pets. Here are a few important reminders: - Stay hydrated and limit time outdoors during peak heat hours.
- Check on vulnerable neighbors, especially seniors and those without air conditioning.
- The Splash Pad at Memorial Park is open daily—a great way for kids of all ages to cool down safely.
That said, the start of summer also means an exciting season of events here in Nyack! You can pick up printed copies of the Nyack Summer Events Guide at Village Hall—or check it out online with over 100 events happening in the Village this summer, this guide is your key to planning ahead. 🎆 Coming Up: Don’t Miss These Big Summer Events 🎇 Independence Day Fireworks
