Nyack Tourism Grants – Round 8

Grant Round 8:

The Village of Nyack and Visit Nyack are offering Tourism Grants to support events and experiences that attract visitors to Nyack—especially overnight stays. Grants range from $1,000 to $7,500 and are exclusively for media and PR expenses to promote tourism-focused initiatives.

✅ What’s Funded:

Media & PR to promote events or experiences that bring tourists to Nyack
Projects that showcase local themes like food, arts, history, wellness, outdoor recreation, and more
Both new and existing initiatives are eligible.

 📝 Who Can Apply:

Individuals, businesses, or nonprofits—no need to be incorporated. Visit Nyack will handle media buys and support your application process.
 

💡 Selection Criteria: Grants favor projects that:

Drive revenue for local businesses (hotels, restaurants, shops)
Boost overnight tourism
Celebrate diversity and inclusion
Leverage Nyack’s unique assets (walkable downtown, waterfront, etc.)
Are repeatable and sustainable
Involve community collaboration

Please complete the two forms “Application 2026-2027” and “Appendix A – Budget-Media Buy” from the DOWNLOADS at the bottom of this page. Please review the “Sample” files provided in the DOWNLOADS as examples.
